Part-3 (God Cares; The Fallen World and the Cross)

Posted: November 8, 2011 in Foundation on "Identities in Christ", The Kingdom of God

There are two worlds, the earthly realms and the Spiritual realms. The Earthly realms are real, but the Spiritual World is the real World, and it will be the one that will last forever. Even as a believers of Jesus Christ, we may live on this earth physically, but out fights are not against flesh and blood.
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. (2Cor 10:3)Jesus Death

‘Genesis 3’ talks about the fall of men, and the world became the fallen world, we have given our authority to rule this earth to Satan. So, we live in a fallen world, there are hard times, situations and circumstances, we all were born with a sinful nature too, needing the Savior. In the same way, we all have faced different situations where we need the healing of the Loving God into our souls, the things we faced might be different from one another, but there are things that we all have faced and will be facing in our lives, some faced accidents, other faced different abuses, either in words or in physical, others had faced bankruptcy, others were looked down by others in one way or another – either in family, in communities, in works and in different places, they were mocked, all these things could be for different reasons – it could be because of gender, it could be because of age, poverty, educations, physical problems, dumb or deaf, mental problems, personality smartness, not able to measure up to the standards of what families, teachers or authority figures expected, or not able to measure up to the standard of the communities and the environments in one way or another, failed in schools and educations, feelings as if not having nice body figures as much as others, may be the youngest in the family or among friends – being scrolled, kicked and under ordered by the elder families, friends or other elder people, might had been into different shameful sins in the past and Satan’s been condemning, or may be living under different pressures. It could be dear one’s passing away, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, children, grand children and we still hold some bitterness or hurts because of those things, and as living in this world , or we will be facing different situations and circumstances, big or small, we will be needing the healings of the Loving God several times.

Another things is that, you might have not receive enough love, affections, care, tenderness or provisions from parents or authority figures during your childhood, or they didn’t speak enough into your live to build you up, Eg: You are precious, you have potential, you are worthy, you can do it, you are able, you can be a great blessings to our community or people around you in one way or another, though we all have different gifts, personalities and ways of things we do, and another like “you are unique”, ‘you are unconditionally loved”, “I love you”, “you are handsome/ beautiful”, “you are beautiful”, “you are such a blessing to us”.

If in case they speak more negative words into your life, you will begin to see yourself in the ways that were spoken to you by your families or authority figures, friends, by communities and others. May also be by facing different sicknesses which causes some bitterness out of it. We all face the consequences of this fallen world in one way or another, and we can’t be healed if we don’t recognized the pains, and knows that we need more of the unconditional love of God in our life.

It could also be that you had been brought up in an environments where controlling or many rules and regulations, punishments at homes or schools, lack of attentions, harsh words and hard disciplines, drunken fathers, mothers or other authorities, work oriented but no real expressions of emotions by families, no crying allowed-especially for boys (male/man don’t cry) or even to girls, no feelings allowed to expressed, living under order, demand perfections by authorities, when all these things are more practiced or valued and is the lifestyle rather than unconditionally loved by parents or authority figures then many side effects can come upon the life of a child. It is in words and in lifestyle; we might be able to say, ‘my father loves me unconditionally’, ‘my mother loves me unconditionally’, ‘my authority figures love me unconditionally’, but, if the lifestyles are more of what we wrote up there, then it is not unconditional love. The children of missionaries, pastors and servants of God are often told, “You are pastor’s child, you must not behave like this”, those things created frustrations, anger, performances and many more in a child’s life. Remember, we live in a fallen world, where no one’s born perfect, where Jesus Christ need to come and save the world, not just to save us from going to hell, but to heal us and deliver us as we saw in Isaiah 61. (Isaiah 61 is given in the last part of this page).

We need to recognize our pains in the presence of the Loving God with honesty and an open heart before the Lord, being transparent and being who and how we are, and just being ourselves. In all these things God wants to heal us, wants to change us and transform us by His Unconditional Love. Our fathers and mothers, our authority figures, our teachers in schools, our guardians, our baby sitters, our friends and elders, our communities and environments are not perfect in this world, so we need the healing of the Savior and the healing of the Father God, the Parenthood of God in all these things, with the unconditional love of God.

We could be having different questions on these things against God. All these things in different situations could give us bitterness, shame, guilt, loneliness, insecurity, constant anger, fear, rebellions, lack of passion and lack of joy, trying to please men or even God, wanting people’s attention, being harsh, depression, feeling inferior when not measured up, feeling superior when measured up to the world, viewing God as an impersonal God, not able to relate to God easily, not able to feel the presence of God, needs of performances before God either by the need to praying loudly, need to raise hands because of performance, cannot imagine God as God is really near and is always with us, viewing God as harsh and punisher, viewing God as far away God, viewing God as if He didn’t give attention to us because of viewing one self so small or being hurt in life in some ways, viewing God as if He is far away somewhere, no really concern about our lives, viewing God as an angry frustrated God, viewing God as if He never expresses His affections, love and emotions upon His children each one of us constantly, all these things might have happen to our lives and the way we even judge God, we actually are judging God as well, needing his forgiveness.

So, there are many side effects, and many more could be there, but the good news is that God has compassion upon each one of us in all these things. He did not despise us of all the things we might have done or faced, He is merciful to us, gracious to us, and is constantly expressing His unconditional Love upon each one of us weather we recognize or don’t recognize His unconditional Love upon each one of us.

Why does God did this to me? why does God allowed me to face these things? but many times it is not God doing these things, and it is not God allowing them to happen either, he grieves in many things that we faced in life, while we faced them, and in return we thought it is Him, but were not Him doing them. God is an unchanging God in His characters and Natures. No matter what we face in our lifetime, the good news is that, “God is always good, and is always loving”, the things we faced in life and the circumstances we face in life does not define “who God is”.

We live in a fallen world and God came to save us and heal us from all these things. We might not always have all the answers of our hidden questions that are in our hearts, about the things we faced, but, the good news is that ‘God is so much good to each person weather they know him or not’, and ‘he loves each person unconditionally’,

So, God is also in the business of healing the wound’s of this world.

Isaiah 61:1-4, 7 (NIV)
The Year of the Lord’s Favor

1The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,
because the LORD has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
2to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor.
4They will rebuild the ancient ruins
and restore the places long devastated;
they will renew the ruined cities
that have been devastated for generations.
7Instead of their shame
my people will receive a double portion,
and instead of disgrace
they will rejoice in their inheritance;
and so they will inherit a double portion in their land,
and everlasting joy will be theirs.

God cares for you, He cares for what you are going through, He cares for what you had gone through in your life, He cares for you unconditionally, He is concern for you, He gives His full attention upon you.

(Ps – 139:17-18)
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand—
when I awake, I am still with you.

If you read and meditate on the whole chapter of Psalm 139, God will bless you and speak to you, tells you “who you really are” through His words.

God Bless You
