Love is Supreme to God

Posted: February 17, 2012 in The Love of Jesus Christ

‘Love’ is Supreme to God.
The Bible is full of God’s Love, from the beginning to the end it is filled with Love. We also can call it “The Book of God’s Love”. Even God’s training, instructions, teachings and disciplines are all out of His Great Love. God didn’t teach, train, instruct and discipline out of anger, but out of Love He does, His justice too are all out of His love. He is a jealous God, but His jealousy are not like the jealousy of man, they are different, they are Holy, and it is in true holy love and not out of judgmental and insecurity.

The Apostle Paul wrote, “If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing”.

The main reason Jesus Christ came to this earth was because of His great Love for the people of the world. The Reason He died on the Cross was because of His Love for all the people of the world, that all men may be saved from their sins and be reconciled with God. His blood washes and cleansed us from all sins.

Another Bible verse for this, please look at this link:

Jesus Christ, the Lord and Savior, He ruled with Love, even when He was on the earth, His life was a life of Love, everything that He did, He did out of Love.

The Kingdom of Heaven too, is the Kingdom of Love, it is filled with Love.
When the Bible talked about different gifts, we can find that Love is Supreme.

Jesus Christ is the perfect Love of God coming down to the earth, Jesus Christ is Love, Jesus Loves you.
