True Story: Forgiveness released upon King David for his acts of murder and adultery

Posted: February 17, 2012 in Other Teachings, The Love of Jesus Christ

King David was a Shepherd boy, God chose him to be king of Israel, but one day, when it was time for the kings to go to their works, He was at home, not doing his responsibility properly. As he watched out from his palace, he saw a beautiful woman called Bethsheba bathing, he let his servants called her, then he slept with her.

Later, King David heard that Bethsheba was pregnant, so he immediately sent message and set things up to kill Uriah, so, Uriah, the husband of Bethsheba got killed.
Later, God sent Nathan the Prophet to confront King David, so Nathan did as the Lord told him to do. Now, King David was convicted of his sins (adultery and murder), went before the Lord in repentance.
We knows and believe that God does not rejoice with our thoughts, minds, actions, envy, jealousy, hatred, gossip, judgmental heart, prideful heart and so on that are evil, but rejoices with the truth because He is full of love. We also knows and believe that He is Almighty God, All powerful, All knowing, present everywhere and can do all things, but then He is also the God who is full of compassion, Mercy, Kindness, S l o w to anger, filled with Abundant Grace and releases Forgiveness to all people to whomever goes before Him.

So, was with King David, when King David goes before the Lord, the Lord God forgave all his sins and remember them no more. God saw Jesus Christ who was to come, during the times of King David, Jesus Christ had not come yet, but because of Jesus Christ who was to come, who has now come for the forgiveness of all the sins of all people, the Adultery and Murdering that King David did was forgiven, Washed Cleansed, Pure and Made Holy. During those days the Blood of the lamb was used to represent the Blood of Jesus Christ, but since Jesus Christ came to die for all people and shed His blood on the Cross once and for all, even today all our sins are forgiven for whoever believe in Jesus Christ. In the Bible, (Hebrews 10:10) , we find that “We have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast”. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

So, today, like King David, God wants to forgive all our sins, whatever sins we might have done, the Blood of Jesus Christ is powerful, Holy and is able to wash clean every single sins we have done. Jesus Christ is Lord, forgiver of sins, who poured out Abundant of Grace and Mercy upon all who went before Him, and He forgives.

The Bible said, “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:8)
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved”. (Romans 10:13)

Jesus Loves you with an everlasting love, people may do remember your past sins, but God will not put them into records, He will see you as a new Creation and a new person as you go before Him and receive Him in your heart. He come to be “The Joy” to the world for who ever received Him in their heart. Just speak out to Him where ever you are, “Come into my heart Lord Jesus, I receive you in my heart”, then He will come into your heart.

In the Bible, Psalm 51, we find that King David composed a song, a prayer of repentance unto the Lord after He was convicted in his heart that He did evil before the Lord. From generation to generations, for 1000’s and 1000’s of years, this simple broken heart prayer never died down, it touches many lives and still changes the lives of no’s of people all around the world. (I believe each day, 100’s, may even be 1000’s of lives are still touched my this poet/ psalm of King David repentance song unto the Lord.

No sin too Big and No sin too Small that the Blood of Jesus Christ cannot Wash away. The Bible said, “There is no one righteous, not even one”. We all need Jesus Christ who is our righteousness, by believing in the Son of God Jesus Christ. So, let us get cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ and be reconciled with God by believing in Jesus Christ who died for each and every person on the face of the earth.

Amazing Grace, Amazing God.

Jesus Christ is Love and Jesus Loves You,
David Chawngthu
