Apostolic Vision – Kingdom Perspective

Posted: October 25, 2013 in Advancing The Kingdom, Foundation on Apostle/ Apostolic

First of all, as a believers of Jesus Christ we all are sent people, sent on earth, we need to have a sent mentality, we are apostolic people, we may not be an Apostle, but we need to have apostolic mentality, apostolic perspective and apostolic vision. Our churches and ministries needs to have apostolic mentality, apostolic perspective and apostolic vision.

Some few examples: (Remember these are for an examples).

1. Having Bible Study inside the church for the church, or having a Bible Study inside their ministry for their ministry may be good, helpful, strengthening, blessed and useful, but that itself is not an Apostolic vision, unless the vision is that the people are equipped so that they would be useful weapons for the Kingdom of God, to impact their city or region and have a heart to impact this world we are living in with the Kingdom of God.

For the definition of an Apostolic vision in Bible Study classes, the Bible classes must be opened up with a heart that many people from their city and outside their city, from their nation and different places, from any church or denomination, they would be equipped for the Kingdom of God. That’s Kingdom perspective and that’s Apostolic perspective.

2. Suppose if a church want to have a worship service every week, once in a week, or once in a month for their church members, that’s not Apostolic, and that’s not Kingdom perspective. The Worship services must be opened up for all, with a focus for their city or region, from any church or denomination, opened up for anyone who want to attend from their city, town or the region around there, even strangers and from any place who wants to attend, that’s a Kingdom perspective, with a heart that many people from their town or city would come and attend their worship services and be blessed. With a heart that anyone around their city or town would come and attend their worship service. Opening up their worship services for their city, not for their church alone, but their city and around their city, anyone who wants to attend, that’s Kingdom perspective and that’s Apostolic.

For another example, suppose, if a church want to have a joint Worship together with a church of another denomination, it might be with a Kingdom perspective or might not be. If it’s Kingdom perspective, their purpose of joint fellowship would be to spread the fire of the worship in their city, region or nation. It’s a great heart to have a heart to see Jesus worship as Lord all over the world.

(And their heart, what they really want to see, would be with a heart of the whole world worshipping God.)

3. If someone thought he or she is called among the Bengali, but only called to 5 Bengalis or 20 Bengalis, that’s not Apostolic, cos that vision is not Kingdom perspective. Their heart would want the Bengalis of their whole region or city come to the Lord, and with a heart for the Bengalis of the world, and a heart for the lost souls of the world come to the Lord.

4. For example, now, one of our main ministry, we could say our main ministry for now is in Internet Media, our focus is for everyone in the Northeast India, and the nations.

We want everyone in the Northeast India and the whole nations of the world to be blessed by our works, we want to see transformations in our regions/ the Northeast India and the Nations of the world, we desire every single person on earth and as much people to visit our blog and read our blog. We want to see God’s Kingdom coming on earth, to every nations on earth through these media works, that’s Kingdom perspective and that’s Apostolic vision.

THE GREAT COMMISSION OF JESUS CHRIST AND THE KINGDOM PERSPECTIVE:

Jesus said, “I must preach the Kingdom of God to the other cities also, for I was sent for this purpose.” So he continued to travel around, preaching in synagogues throughout Judea/Galilee. (Luke 4:43-44)

And when Jesus Commissioned His Disciples and the believers, he commissioned them this way –

“Go into ALL THE WORLD and preach the gospel to ALL CREATIONS. (Mark 16:15)

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of ALL NATIONS” (Matt 28:18-19)

“Go” – “Sent”, therefore as a believers of Jesus Christ we are “SENT” people.
“ALL Nations”, “ALL the World”, “ALL Creations” – Kingdom perspective and Global perspective.

In the Apostolic prayer, we prayed, “Your Kingdom Come, Your will be done, as in Heaven so on earth”. (Matt 6:10)

“Your Kingdom Come”, (Your Kingdom come, your will be done), that’s an Apostolic perspective.

“So ON EARTH” (As in Heaven so on earth), that too is an Apostolic perspective, Kingdom perspective and Global perspective.

Therefore the Apostolic Vision and perspective is not about your normal sunday service or normal sunday bible classes. It’s about transforming your town and cities with the Kingdom of God, Impacting your city with the Kingdom, impacting your state or province with the Kingdom, impacting your nation with the Kingdom, impacting the nations with the Kingdom, to invade the world for Christ and His Kingdom, therefore we pray, “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done as in heaven so on earth”. And with a heart and mentality of Global perspective. And it’s about transforming your region with the Kingdom, transforming your nation or the nations with the Kingdom of God.
