The Lion of Judah

Posted: October 29, 2013 in Foundation on Apostle/ Apostolic, Leadership

“The Lion of the tribe of Judah” is Jesus Christ,

He has risen from the dead and He is Lord,
Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess,
That Jesus Christ is Lord.

Jesus Christ said, “All Authority in Heaven and on earth has been given to me”.

The Lion of Judah is also a prophetic symbol for the Apostolic.

Gen 49:8-10
“Judah, your brothers will praise you. You will grasp your enemies by the neck. All your father’s sons/ relatives will bow before you.
Judah, my son, is a young lion that has finished eating its prey. Like a lion he crouches and lies down; like a lioness–who dares to rouse him?

The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until the coming of the one to whom it belongs, and the obedience of the nations shall be his.

Rev 5:5 – “Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David has triumphed/ overcome. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

– David Chawngthu
