The Lordship of Christ and Submission: (Leadership)

Posted: November 25, 2013 in Foundation on Apostle/ Apostolic, Leadership

Judgment on what God does is stupidity:

It is one of the most stupidity to bring judgment on what God does, to bring judgment upon what God does is to bring judgment upon God Himself, to be judgmental against God, that was what the teachers of the laws and the Pharisees did to Jesus during His earthly ministry, and that was a really stupid thing to do, they actually brought persecutions to Jesus. No Godly leaders or Godly person who feared the Lord would dare to bring judgment on what God does, as long as they got Christ as their head.

To bring judgment upon what God does is to bring Judgment upon God Himself.

“Jesus Christ as Lord” is the solid foundation:

Christ is the head of the Church, Christ is the head of the Body of Christ, and Christ is the head of the Kingdom of God. Having “Jesus Christ as Lord” is the solid foundation for all ministries, works, churches and the Kingdom of God. Without this foundation, people wants to be the Greatest, they fought for being the Greatest, there is no submission to the Lordship of Christ. This solid foundation “Jesus Christ as Lord” is the key to ministries, works and serving the purposes of God.

“Just Do it”:

As a servant of Christ, when Christ said, “Do it”, our job is to “Just do it”, no matter what, whether we are imprisoned, persecuted for it, mistreated or abused, our job is to do what God said.
Do what God said, Live like Jesus, Do what Jesus assigned you to do.

If we are to represent Christ on this earth, there is no middle ground, He has sent us to fight a battle, and we need to fight the battle, and the battle belongs to the Lord.

When Jesus was sent on this earth by the Father to preach the Kingdom of God, He knows what He will be facing, He knows He will be persecuted, He knows He will be killed, He knows He will be hung on the cross. Yet He chose to be obedient.

Jesus Christ was obedient to death. He knew His Mission, He need to accomplish His Mission. To fullfill the assignment God has given Him, Phil 2:6-8 – “He made Himself nothing, taking the nature of a servant, appearing as a man, He humbled Himself, obedient to death, even to the point of death on a cross”.

That was His submission to God, without submission to God there is no mission. We submit ourselves to God, therefore we’ve got Mission.

Submitting ourselves under the Lordship of Christ:

Philippians 2:9-11

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place,
And gave him the name that is above every name,
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
In heaven and on earth and under the earth,
And every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,

As Jesus Christ was submitted to the Father God, every person and especially leaders must learn to submit themselves under the Lordship of Christ, this is where true Authority comes from, “Submitting ourselves under the Lordship of Christ and having Jesus Christ as Lord”, this is where Mission comes from, we’ve got no mission without submission to God, and the “Lordship of Christ” is the foundation for every ministries, works, churches and the Kingdom of God.

“Jesus Christ as Lord” gives Authority and Power to leaders, as well as servanthood, humbleness, submission to God, and a desire to do His will.

Submission to the Lordship of Christ under persecution:

Being a servant of Christ, when we are attacked, being mistreated and persecuted, one of the most easy thing to think in our thought is that, “I’ll not do this or that work, as if i’m doing for my own self, therefore I’ll just leave them alone, there’s non of my benefit, it’s unnecessary getting into trouble, it’s a waste of time, there are countless of people on earth”. And we know it’s evil to be attacked, to be mistreated and to be abused, we know that Satan’s work is to steal, kill and destroy, and we know that “God will not fight against His own works”.

But the best joy comes when we are in submission under the Lordship of Christ. No matter where we are, no matter what we face, no matter how we are treated or abused, no matter how we are persecuted and treated badly, the best joy comes when we are submitted under the Lordship of Christ.

No matter who we may be, we might be Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, servant of God, business man, or any type of person, we all must learn to submit under the Lordship of Christ. There’s no joy than that. Rather than having Millions of money, millions of lands and buildings, submission under the Lordship of Christ is important. Rather than a Church or family where there is no submission under the Lordship of Christ, a prison where there is submission under the Lordship of Christ has more joy in it.

Paul and Silas were people submitted under the Lordship of Christ, they pray and sing hymns to God in prison, and other prisoners were listening. They praise and worship God in prison, under persecutions and being chained, and that was great.

When we say, “The Kingdom of God”, it’s foundation is “Jesus Christ as Lord”, therefore we need to submit ourselves under the Lordship of Christ.

“Your Kingdom Come, Your will be done, as in Heaven so on earth”.

All believers, especially leaders must have Christ as their Supreme Head:

We must know that God is Superior, Superior over everything, Superior over people, Superior over leaders, Superior over demons, Superior over angels, and Superior over anything else.

Jesus Christ got the name that is above every name, and ALL Authority in Heaven and on earth has been given to Him.

All believers of Jesus Christ must have Christ as their Supreme Head, especially for leaders this is essential. A leader or authority figure who cannot submit under the Lordship of Christ is a leader of his own, that person has no head, that person is just a proud person with no character. A leader who is submissive to God has a character of servanthood and is humble. If you are a leader who is submissive to the Lordship of Christ, having Christ as your Supreme head, not just in words, but a really submissive heart, who would do anything what God said, Servanthood will be natural for you.

JESUS CHRIST IS LORD, EVERY KNEE SHOULD BOW
