History of People Advancing the Kingdom of God

Posted: June 27, 2014 in Advancing The Kingdom, Foundation on Apostle/ Apostolic

Alexander the Great was a good example for the Apostolic and Advancing the Kingdom, even though we do not wage war as the world does, Alexander the Great wants to take lands after lands, conquer, influence with the Kingdom culture, and then move on taking another lands. And that’s the Apostolic culture, Kingdom culture. WITHOUT ADVANCING THE KINGDOM OF GOD, THERE IS NO APOSTOLIC.

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. (2Cor 10:3-4)

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephe 6:12)

Joshua Advanced the Kingdom of God through taking lands,

The Lord to Joshua – (Joshua 1:3-4) I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates–all the Hittite country–to the Mediterranean Sea in the west.

David advanced the Kingdom of God through psalms, defending the Kingdom, and war.

Solomon Advanced the Kingdom through words of wisdom/ wisdom (Divine wisdom – Revelational and practical), wealth, finances and prosperity in the Kingdom (this too is a warfare, Solomon got a great victory for the Kingdom in this warfare), building relationships with other countries, and building a temple, known to be the first temple for the Lord (Solomon’s Temple),

Peter and Paul Advanced the Kingdom through preaching the Gospel where Christ HAS NEVER BEEN HEARD, preaching the truths of the Kingdom and by planting churches, And then also by healing, miracles, signs and wonders, and extraordinary miracles.

Paul said that in Romans 15:20 – It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else’s foundation.

Acts 19:11 – God did extraordinary miracles through Paul..

Acts 5:15 – As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.

Martin Luther Advanced the Kingdom of God through Restoring Kingdom Truths – Justified by faith (saved by grace) and many more truths, and by reformations.

Abraham Lincoln said, ā€œI have been driven many times upon my knees by the overwhelming conviction that I had no where else to go. My own wisdom and that of all about me seemed insufficient for that day.ā€

Abraham Lincoln advanced the Kingdom of God from the area of the Political Government. Changing the whole culture, breaking the chains of injustices and oppressions, Abolishing Slavery, giving liberty, giving freedom and setting the captives free.

In heaven, there are no children without education, there are no children without foods, there are no poverty in heaven, there are no sicknesses in heaven, there are no orphans in heaven (Father to the Fatherless on earth), there are no hungry kids (without foods) and needy kids in heaven, there are no lost souls in heaven.

Your Kingdom Come,
Your Will be done,
As in Heaven,
So on earth.
(Matt 6:10)
