Welcoming a Righteous man – David Chawngthu

Posted: March 7, 2015 in Other Teachings

This is a personal conversation with the Lord. It was one evening in February 2015, I want to know about a Righteous man’s award.

He who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. (Matt 10:41)

Then I asked the Lord, “Lord, what is a righteous man award? And who is a Righteous man?”

The Lord said, “A Righteous man is someone who love to do the will of God”.

Then I asked, “Then What is a righteous man award?”

The Lord said, “A righteous man is someone like King David, when he falls into adultery, he gets up again, he got genuine repentance before the Lord, knowing that he did wrong (He accept his sin). We all have sin and fall into sins, but a righteous man when he falls he gets up again. (A righteous man may fall 7 times but will get up again). A righteous man knows that God loves him, he don’t feel condemned, even when he falls he gets up again, and move on, and that is a righteous man award. The ability to get up again and go on, not feeling condemned, knowing that God loves us.

(Note: This may not be the only award of welcoming a Righteous man)

REVELATIONS: There is a difference between Self Righteousness and Biblical Righteousness. If you welcome someone like King David in the Bible you are welcoming a Righteous man. King David was a righteous man according to the Biblical Righteousness. David was a man after God’s own heart.

Pro 24:16 – A righteous man falls seven times, and rises again

When people fall into sin and gets up again, it is important that we do not condemn them. They are walking in the ways of Righteousness and not Self Righteousness. David commit both adultery and murder, but confessed and repented before the Lord.

David repented and confessed before the Lord – Read psalm 51. He was a man after God’s own heart.

If you welcome a man like King David, you are welcoming a Righteous man. When we confess our sins before the Lord, we are walking in the road of Righteousness. If we confess our sins before the Lord, the Lord will forgive our sins.
