Faith and wisdom are an important ingredients of leadership.

Faith in Leadership: Faith in leadership builds our faith, helps us advance the Kingdom, progress, and give us the abilities to do things, even in our own works. We need faith to do things from our present situations and circumstances to move forward. People like Caleb and Joshua in the Bible sees the possibilities and have faith in God to do the things that were before them which were impossible to the circumstances, they could make things possible and more easy, therefore faith people in leadership is an important ingredient.

Wisdom in Leadership: Wisdom in leadership help us make wise decisions, help us laid good foundations in different things in the Kingdom of God, wisdom to rule and make decisions, helps in giving wise counsel, help us solve different problems, wisdom in crisis and different situations and circumstances, help us protect from different things and harms that can happen, and the abilities to see what could happen good or bad with the decisions that are made. Since wisdom laid the foundations of the Kingdom of God, it is also important to know that fear is not wisdom, which some could claim as wisdom. Wisdom also gives abilities in many situations, and is useful in every part of leadership and gives us wisdom how to do things.

Therefore wisdom and faith are an important ingredients of leadership.

Low self image can hinder us from receiving from God. When we have a low self image, we feel we are not worthy, we can have a feelings of not worthy to receive, not worthy to have, not worthy to have good belongings, not worthy to be rich or wealthy. But when we know our Identities in Christ, we know we are a child of God, we are children of the King, we feel we are Prince and Princesses, we know we are loved and accepted, we know God wants to give us good gifts.

Jesus said in Matthew 7:11 – “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him! (Matt 7:11)

From here we can say that, even wicked people and evil people love to give good gifts to their children. Our heavenly Father is a good God, full of love and compassion, who is generous and love to give good gifts to us.

Some years ago in 2008, me and my family were working in Youth with a Mission without any single salary, we need flight tickets, train tickets, taxi fares, staff fees, house rent, electric bills, other travelling expenses, need to buy household things for our new home where we will be shifting, and many more needs. In the midst of that we still need a laptop, I fasted one meal and asked God for a laptop, which I told only my wife, and then we were given a laptop in the same month, God provided us through my Grand Dad in the same month, he didn’t knew that I was praying to God for a laptop in that month, I was amazed, we were amazed.

If I feel unworthy to have a laptop in the midst of all that, then I wouldn’t asked God for a laptop when I need, but being a child of God, I believe that God wants to provide for us. Jesus said in Matt 7:7 – “Ask and it shall be given to you”.

God wants to provide us not only what we need, but in abundant and for our enjoyment. God wants us to enjoy life.

1 Timothy 6:17 says that “God is the one who richly provide us all things for our Enjoyment”.

low self image

When we have a low self image, not knowing that we are sons and daughters of the King of heaven and earth, we can feel that we are not worthy to receive good things, and it can hinder us from receiving from God, but the truth is that we are children of the King, highly precious and highly valuable to Him, Extremely loved, and He love to provide for us, that’s the truth.

While the Apostle Paul said, “I laid a foundation as a wise Master Builder (Divine Wisdom)”, he also said, “My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power”. (1Cor 2:4-5)

Jesus did countless of signs, wonders and miracles while he was on this earth, so does all the Apostles, except for the people with the gift of healings and miracles. The new testament signs, wonders and miracles were all done by the Apostles. God did extraordinary miracles through the Apostles.

The Apostle Paul said in 2 Cor 12:12 – “The signs of a true apostle – signs, wonders, and miracles”.

By the grace of God, during the last 10yrs (2005 – 2015), God has also showed me several signs, wonders and miracles – Stomach pain healed, back pain healed, a person who almost died and can’t eat food, water, medicine or anything else after prayer could have her medicines, leg pain healed, ankle pain healed, my wife eye pain healed in South India, another lady who can’t open her eyes in the sun and has gone to many Doctors and could not be healed feel a burning in her eyes and was instantly healed, high temperature fever instantly healed, nose problem healed, deaf ear healed, continual nose bleeding problems healed, financial miracle, electrifying touch of God, intervention of angels, and several different other types of signs, wonders and miracles in training centre and some churches, usually in Mizoram, West Bengal, and Sikkim in Northeast India.

One of the most notable thing and amazing to me was in 2006, when my wife and I went to pray in a forest. We prayed for the rain to stop, and we prayed when it would rain again, and the rain stop exactly as we prayed and rain again exactly as we prayed, it happened around 3 times on that day.

Even though I have not seen many signs, wonders and miracles in my life, I am glad to see several of them, because that’s where the foundation of “Faith” is build. Even though the main purpose of the Apostolic is not signs, wonders and miracles, but signs, wonders and miracles follow the Apostles, and the Apostle’s 3 main gifts are wisdom, faith and leadership, and Advancing the Kingdom of God is the main purpose and heart of the Apostle. And Signs, wonders and miracles are the foundation of “Faith”, even though the Apostle Paul said, “I laid a foundation as a wise master builder (divine wisdom)”, he also said, “My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power”.

It was amazing to know that “Voice of the apostles” conference 2014 were expecting over 2,000 miraculous healings during that few days of conference. And people like Heidi Baker, besides all the extraordinary miracles they had seen, they also had seen countless of people being raised from the dead in their works for the Lord.
Can you believe that the apostle John wrote in John 21:25 that Jesus did many things as well. If every one of them were written down the whole world would have no books for it, it might be like the conference held in Singapore in 2014 by some ministries where there were over 1000 miraculous healings during 3 days, we can conclude that while Jesus was on this earth He did many works and countless of extraordinary miracles where the books of those days would not contain.

THE APOSTLE PAUL: God did extraordinary miracles through Paul. So that handkerchiefs or aprons were even carried from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out. (Acts 19:11- 12)

THE APOSTLE PETER: People brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed. (Acts 5:15-16)

THE APOSTLES: The apostles performed many signs and wonders among the people. (Acts 5:12)

gift of faith

You shall remember the LORD your God, For IT IS HE who is giving you ABILITIES/POWER TO MAKE WEALTH.. Deuteronomy 8:18

My Grand Dad, Mr. C. Thangkima, was a Business man who always put God first, a hard working man, tough and compassionate, the Founder of Aizawl Watch House Estd 1959, and a faithful servant of God, a Church elder (Sergeant Major of Bazar corp), @Aizawl, Mizoram, India, and “The First President of ACSAL (Advisory Council of Salvation Army Laymen), India Eastern Territory”.

According to the cultures of the Northeast India, he was also a descendant of Vanapa Chawngthu, a famous and Great Warrior in the History of Mizoram in India.

Mr. C.Thangkima’s father and mother died while he was 10 years old, therefore he could not continue with his studies and studied till Class 4 (standard 4). His Dad was a rich man during their times, he was a good hunter as well as a good harvester, who used to get awards for great harvests in their village/town/area. But then for some reasons, after his Dad died, he became like a homeless, and only got 4 Indian Rupees in his hands with 1 Mizo bag, and as a young boy he later got a job cleaning up vessels in the Army, earning his living. Yet, when he died in 2012, he left over 1 Million US $ worth lands and buildings for his family.

After they started their business in 1959, the Lord blessed them much more, God multiplied their daily income, their daily income multiplied 10 times, 20 times and more compared to their daily income before. And his fame quickly spread at once all over the state of Mizoram in India, everywhere you go everyone knows his name, because the Lord has blessed them.

In 1990, because of his good service for the Lord and in the Salvation Army, especially in PROVIDING the needs, giving car to the Salvation Army in 1986, building several church buildings, supporting outreaches, and being a good Samaritan. The Salvation Army General from London gave him “Order of the Founder”, which is the highest award in the Salvation Army International. His family not only serve inside the Salvation Army, they also used to support several Missionaries in several areas in finances and needs, in YWAM (Youth with a Mission), and other Organizations, In India and outside India.

Some of few Testimonies below…

1. A severe Heart problem healed:
Once there was a lady with a heart problem, (in mizo we call it “Lung pawp”), “Young Mizo Associations” (YMA) and her relatives used to stay awake whole night for her, she was referred to another Hospital outside Mizoram state, since they could not do there. One morning around 2 a.m. in the morning my Grand Father went to pray for her, right after my Grand Father prayed for her, she sat up and said, “I am healed”. Then the next day they did Xray again, now Xray could not find the heart problem that she had, she was released from the hospital. Now, she has got husband and children.

2. My Grand Dad heard great choirs of angels several times, every time he shared to me about this he often added, “Their voices were So beautiful”, and tears would come into his eyes because the Lord used to touch his heart again through the song they sang.

3. God’s Miraculous Protection from Gangs in Finances:
In 1971, my Grand Father went to Calcutta to buy a vehicle. Then one day he met a guy who claim to be Motor Agent and can give in a cheap price, but was not Motor Agent. So, my Grand Father followed him. After sometimes, they went to some corner of a street and a group of gangs (Gundas) caught him with pistol and knife, and brought him in a room.

My Grand Father put those money in a small bag, the bag was almost full of money, they ask him to give the money and they check his bag, then my Grand Father prayed to God. And when they look at the bag they could not find the money even though the bag was said to be almost full of money. Now, when those gangs looked at my Grand Father, they now fear him, and they provide for him Taxi and dropped him to his friend’s house.

Then later, My Grand Father praise God with this song, “There is nothing to fear before Jesus, everything used to obey/bow in his command”.

From nothing, God has blessed him and his family with over U.S. Million Dollars worth lands and buildings, and these are the blessings of God, because God is a good God, He wants his people to enjoy life, and that they can be a blessings for others and the Kingdom of God as well. His last sermon preaching before he died was on “God’s abilities and the red sea divided..”

And the photo given below was the last church building that my Grand Dad build, for God and His Kingdom, around 2007, “C.Thangkima C.S.M.  O.F. Prayer Hall”, at Prayer Mountain, Durtlang, Aizawl, Mizoram, India.

Prayer Mountain

“But you shall remember the LORD your God,

– David Chawngthu

When Jesus said, “You can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’, and IT WILL MOVE”, he was talking about a real mountain, IT WAS A REAL MOUNTAIN JESUS WAS TALKING ABOUT, a mountain like the Himalayan region, a mountain like Mount Everest, a mountain like you saw from your home, a mountain near your city, near your home, the mountains near the seas, the mountain mountaineers climb.

And Jesus told, “It will Move”, “Nothing will be impossible for you”.

Jesus said, “I tell you the TRUTH, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, You can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’, and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Many people’s life will never be satisfied unless they see impossible things done, for God desire to see impossible things done through His people on earth.

– When you see the deaf ears, blind eyes, or health problems and you pray and command the deaf ears, eye problems or health problems in Jesus Name, that’s faith in action.

– Taking initiatives in what God told you to do is faith in action.

– When you take action in what God told you to do, that’s “faith in action”.

– Only faith people can take actions in what God told them to do. As a believers of Jesus Christ we are to be faith people.

– Faith has to do with, “Am gonna believe God for this”..

– Many times faith may involve RISK

– Faith produces Authority.

– Faith is build by seeing the Impossible things done.

You Were Born for the Impossible…

The reason God didn’t take you take you to be with Him when you were born again is because you have the divine assignment to invade the impossible. The reality of the Christian life is measured by the impact on the impossible.

Much of what we give God credit for can be done by the Kawanis Club. I’m don’t mean God is not involved, I’m just saying all it is doing is tapping into human talent to accomplish what mankind can accomplish.

What satisfaction is there in human accomplishment? There is some, but it’s not really lasting. It’s nothing like having cancer disappear. It’s nothing like the mother that lost the use of one arm to an accident – lost three inches of bone. She couldn’t grasp, couldn’t raise her arm; she couldn’t pick up her two year old because of this surgery. She had five surgeries in four and a half years. There was nothing like watching a lady pray for her and watching God add the three inches of bone, adding all movement, all feeling, everything! Then she goes to pick up her two year old and her little girl says “No mommy, broken arm” because that’s all she has heard her whole life. To then see her say to her little girl, “No, it’s ok now.”

All the buildings I could build, all the money I could raise seem suddenly insignificant in the moment of seeing that little girl held by her mother. I’ll take that over a million buildings.

And that’s who you are! You were born into this family, the actual Spirit of the resurrected Christ took up residence in us. He’s in us and He wants out!
